A distinguished Library and Information Science professional, academician, researcher, teacher, motivator and counsellor, with a unique professional journey that combines 15 years of dedicated service in the Indian Army with a strong commitment to academics, teaching, research and the field of Library and Information Science. His extensive experience in the Army has instilled in him the values of discipline, leadership, dedication, teamwork and responsibility, which he effectively brings into his academic and professional life.

With a strong academic and research orientation in Library and Information Science, Mr. Pandey has contributed to teaching, research and scholarly communication. He has published 7 research papers and has authored 1 book and 6 book chapters, along with significant academic contributions to Uttarakhand Open University, including 1 book and 7 book chapters. He is also the holder of one Design Patent, reflecting his interest in innovation, creativity and the practical application of knowledge in the academic and professional domain.

For his valuable contributions to academics and professional development, Mr. Pandey has been honoured with the Young Professional Award by Aastha Foundation and has also received the Excellent Teaching Award in recognition of his dedication to teaching and his commitment to the academic growth of learners. His professional interests include Library and Information Science, Library Automation, ICT Applications, Digital Libraries, Knowledge Organization, emerging technologies and innovative information services.

Beyond his role as an educator and researcher, Mr. Pandey is recognised as an inspiring motivator and an approachable counsellor.
